On Sunday the 4th of December I will be holding a Christmas workshop activity at the Highgate Literary & Scientific Institution for children and their parents. So please come in and say hi! Maybe make a Christmas cracker, Christmas paper star or a nice little Christmas card with me and my nice volunteers. There will be cute stalls to look through, some little activities, refreshments and tombola too! You will find me in the middle of the biggest room wearing a Christmas hat between 11am and 4pm. Hope to see you then!

A while back I was given the honourable task to put a Christmas workshop for families together. It will take place at a Christmas fair in December here in London. There’s still a little time to go but the big plan is made. I have some instructions to write and photograph before then but, so far so good. I’ll tell you more about it later when I know about the details.

I just wanted to show you a necklace I made for myself a little while ago. It’s inspired by traditional Swedish craft and I’m trying to remember what they are called. Meanwhile I’m calling them (oh yes, I’m making more) “gömmor” which translates to something along the lines of “hiding places”. They are open at the top so you can actually hide a love note or maybe a little gem in there. How do you like it?
PS. Since the photos were taken I’ve reinforced the hems not to have them fray...
